Tara Benson, der har udtænkt planerne om Blackwood Distillers, og Robin Mouatt der er ansvarlig for salget er startet i et lejet husmandssted i Skellister, South Nesting.
Kontoret ligger blot få kilometer fra det sted hvor de vil bygge destilleriet til Ãâã3.5millioner. Ms Benson udtaler: "While finalising details of the distillery build, it is important for Blackwood Distillers to have an office in Shetland, and it is excellent that we've found a location so close to the distillery site."
"As a Shetland enterprise keen to work closely with other local companies, we were eager to get properly established here as quickly as possible."
Siden sidste år har Blackwood Distillers produceret spiritus, så som Nordic Dry Gin og Premium Nordic Vodka, der har vundet guld medaljer ved World Spirits Awards.
Mr Mouatt siger: "Following the successful launch of our white spirits range in Shetland and Orkney, we have now planned a series of local launches throughout the Highlands and Islands, and others in Ireland and Northern Ireland."
