Verdens ældste whisky stjålet was created by MacLars
Efter stängning, sista dagen av Öl & Whiskymässan tar sig någon in i Symposions monter och stjäl bl.a vår 70-åriga Mortlach 1938 Generations. Som tur var bara en 20cl-flaska, men värdet är ändå 35.000:-
Kontakta mig om ni hör något. Det finns bara två flaskor i Sverige, så om tjuven gör misstaget att visa upp flaskan så lär hela whiskysverige veta vem det är.

Update on the Mortlach 70 theft! The bottle was #53 in the series, and while a police report has been filed, Stockholm police did not interview any of the security guards in the hall and plan no investigation unless someone comes forward with details. The importer has said that if the bottle is returned, no questions will be asked. Not likely to happen, but worth getting the word out.

Men er det verdens ældste whisky?
Der findes vel ældre whisky end Mortlach'en - blandt andet er der hørt rygter en lancering af en 80-årig G&M næste år.
Måske bare et mediestunt?

har ikke hørt om en ældre aftapning end G&M's Mortlach...men skulle ikke undre mig om de kan diske op med en endnu ældre næste år...
