Jeg har set den til knap 70 £ et sted - husker ikke hvor.

Til orientering henviser "parliament" til en flok råger, der huserer omkring destilleriet.

MoM sender 1. November en Movember Glenfarclas i handlen.
"Distilled in September 2002 and bottled in September 2011, this most unusual 9 year old Glenfarclas has been taken from two Oloroso sherry hogshead casks, and can be perfectly described as an ‘aperitif whisky' - nutty and intensely savoury."

Whiskybase.com er nu også begyndt at sælge egne aftapninger. Nogle af disse er aftappet i samarbejde med den tyske aftapper Whisky-Fässle.
Derudover sælger de nu også aftapninger fra andre uafhængige aftapninger - senest er The Whisky Agency, Whisky-Doris og Silver Seal kommet til.

En 46-års "Probably Speysides Finest" er nu dukket op på The Whisky Exchanges hjemmeside.
"A well aged 46 year old whisky from 'Probably Speyside's Finest' distillery, according to bottlers Douglas Laing. Distilled in 1965 and aged in a sherry butt this has taken on the beautiful colour that is typical of old whisky from, for example, Glenfarclas."

Ny aftapning fra G&M / Pulteney nu hos The Whisky Exchanges

Pulteney 1998 / Cask Strength / Gordon & Macphail - 56.9%
A 1998 vintage whisky from the Pulteney distillery, home of Old Pulteney whisky, bottled by Gordon Macphail at cask strength.
This matured in first fill bourbon casks before bottling in August 2011, one day shy of its 13th birthday.

En 18-års Laphroaig er på vej til UK butikkerne

To celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 60th year on the throne, Islay single malt whisky Laphroaig, is launching a special Diamond Jubilee commemorative edition. Bearing Prince Charles' Royal Warrant, the 3,000 Jubilee cartons and bottles are set to become collector's items. Laphroaig has also pledged to make a donation of £3000 to The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST).

Tasting notes
Appearance : Bright Gold
Nose:
A soft sweet toffee , with faint spicy flavour a trace of delicate phenols, with traces of new mown hay and peat finish .
Palate
An instant warming tang of smoke that fades into smooth floral scents and blends seamingly into an oaky nuttiness leaving a sweetness on the taste.
Finish:
Full bodied , long with luxurious oily smoothness

An Cnoc har sendt en 35-års Single Malt på gaden.
"A couple of days ago, the new anCnoc 35 years old expression was released, bottled at cask strength 44,3%, matured in both bourbon and sherry casks and available for around € 250."

Glen Fahrn har været på Limburg Whiskyfair i 2011 og 2012. De whiskyer, jeg har smagt derfra, har været rigtig gode. Det drejer sig om Coleburn 26 år 1983/2010, Littlemill 22 år 1989/2011 og Tomintoul 43 år 1968/2012.

Batch 3 of Black Bull 40 Year Old has recently been bottled and is soon to be available to purchase from retailers.
Black Bull 40YO batch 3 is a mix of 14.4% Grain Whiskies and 85.6% malt Whiskies from some of Scotland's premium distilleries.

Black Bull 40 Year Old Batch 3 - 41.6%
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright Gold
Nose: Raisins, roasted almonds, butter scotch, dark chocolate, orange zest, freshly cut grass.
Taste: Citrus fruits, manuka honey, faint smoked oakiness, wild berries with a distance coastal flavour emerging.
Finish: Long mouth coating finish with a delicate traces of chocolate covered cherries, with salty traces fighting their way to the front.
Comment: This is a dram to be savoured and enjoyed.
