Hos Laddieblog kan man læse følgende:

There is a Danish urban myth that says it is possible to get drunk by submerging your feet in alcohol.

The British Medical Journal includes a report by Dr Peter Lommer Kristensen, from the Hillerød Hospital in Denmark, that researched the myth. Volunteers, having drunk no alcohol for 24 hours and having provided a blood sample, put their feet in a bowl containing three bottles of Vodka for three hours. Blood samples were taken every half an hour.

The results show that there was no increase in the concentration of alcohol in the participants' blood stream. Dr Kristensen says the research provides helpful evidence, including, er, ... "that driving a vehicle or skippering a boat with boots full of Vodka seems to be safe".

He concluded: "brewery workers cannot become intoxicated by 'falling' into a brewery vat."
